Dental Assistant and Front Desk

I love meeting new people and helping them feel good about their smile. I also enjoy renewing and strengthening relationships with patients who’ve been with the practice for 15 years or more.

I wear two hats in our office. Working at our front desk, I welcome patients and families when they arrive. I check them in, update their information, and assist them with their dental insurance. As a dental assistant, I support Dr. Clark and our patient during procedures. Sitting chairside, I make sure Dr. Clark has everything she needs. At the same time, I’m updating our patient.

I have adult children and grandchildren who see Dr. Clark. They would say I go the extra mile for all our patients, just as I do for them.

Lorie

Dental Assistant

I love building relationships with people and helping them develop a smile they love. It’s fun to hear about a person’s life and interests during their visits. We have great conversations and often become friends.

I help patients throughout their visits. I make sure they’re comfortable in the chair and prepare them to see Dr. Clark. I explain what the doctor will be doing and answer their questions. Then I sit beside them during procedures. I act as a second pair of hands for Dr. Clark while talking with our patient. At the end of a visit, I provide home care instructions and answer questions.

My family keeps me busy when I’m not at work. I have two adult children, a husband, nephew and my big dog   When I can find the time, I love to cook and to lose myself in a good book, or video game with my nephew and husband.
